#152 and #153 at Woodlands Historic Park, Victoria, Australia, September 26 2018

Finally!!! After months of cold weather, the insects are starting to get out and about again. I've spent a lot of the winter focusing on birds (see http://2018birdphotos.blogspot.com/ for more info) but now that spring has sprung, I've dusted off the macro lens (literally) and started looking for some more species for this blog. I only found a few insect species in total on my first macro outing for the season, including Cadmus (Cadmus) crucicollis which is a new one for me, and Calomela ioptera, a species that I've only seen once before. Hopefully more will follow...
